Dartford result - good for English Democrats

Dartford result

This is the by-election result from a single ward in Dartford, Kent so let’s not get carried away. But 17% is still great result for the English Democrats and a terrible one for the Lib Dems 2% and UKIP2%.

Well done Mike Tibby and his team.

This shows that the English Democrats can make an impact at this level and that there is genuine and growing support for the English cause. Very encouraging. I hope the English Democrats take heart and step everything up a gear.

With an overall turnout of only 27% the result also shows us that the Apathy Party still reigns supreme. This has to change.

I have again given my UKIP MEP my opinion that UKIP has to support devolution because it is losing us votes. I know you’re an EDP supporter, but whilst I do support their aims there is just something I can’t put my finger on about them that troubles me. Not sure what it is but I’d rather UKIP deserved the English vote!

When I decided to get back into Party Politics I saw the choices as being UKIP or EDP.

I voted UKIP last General Election, and have voted UKIP at every European Election bar the first one. I have also donated them money in the past.

    But England was paramount.

Incidentally, my main local EDP members are all ex-UKIP.
