Power 2010 have released an ICM survey which shows that 68% agree with the statement: “England should have its own parliament with similar powers to those of the Scottish Parliament”.

You wouldn’t know it from the BBC report, but Mike Knowles of the Campaign for an English Parliament also gave evidence to the Justice Committee.

English Parliament: Absurd and dangerous

There was an article on the West Lothian Question last night on BBC Parliament, Radio 4. Listen again here (about 18 minutes in).

A justice committee has interviewed three witnesses as part of an MPs enquiry into the “Impact of Devolution. The witnesses were ex Conservative Chancellor Ken Clarke, Vernon Bogdanor who is professor of Government at Oxford University and former Lib MP Lord (Paul) Tyler as witnesses.
